Lao culture thrives in heritage bar
Tucked away in a hidden lane overlooking the Nam Khan River, Jungala Lounge Bar has quickly become one of Luang Prabang’s must-visit dining destinations.
Built into the hillside, the venue exudes a hidden, off-the-beaten-path charm. Guests can savour local and international dishes in a variety of seating options, from cozy armchairs to a relaxed lounge area.

Evenings are especially magical as the sun sets over the river, casting a warm, inviting glow – perfect for dinner or cocktails.
The bar has recently added traditional Lao music and dance, offering guests a captivating celebration of the country’s rich cultural heritage.
The one-hour performance begins at 7 pm every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with additional shows available on request. For more details, contact Asian Trails Laos.
