Luang Prabang Wellness Experience
Spectacular scenery and spirituality take centre stage on this illuminating tour. We head to the Carpe Diem Restaurant where we are guided through 30 minutes of meditation, followed by a one-hour yoga class. After breakfast at the restaurant, we continue to Kuang Si Waterfall, with a visit on the way to a nearby bear sanctuary which protects animals rescued from poachers. On arrival at the biggest waterfall in the Luang Prabang area, we view water cascading down a three-tiered, 60-metre drop into spectacular azure pools. We can enjoy a cooling dip in these natural formations created by the forces of nature. We then head back to town, with lunch at the L’Elephant Restaurant. We then meet our new guide, a former novice in one of the local temples. We take walk to nearby Wat Pa Phai where our guide will explain about Buddhist culture, architecture, temple etiquette and the daily life of monks. This is the perfect opportunity to find out everything about Buddhism in Laos. The experience includes another insight into meditation. At the end of the day, we indulge in a pampering session at Le Spa in the Sofitel Hotel, including a signature massage and a 30-minute foot massage.
