Luang Prabang Cooking Class

Learn to cook like a local on a cooking class taught by one of the best chefs in Luang Prabang. We are collected from the hotel by tuk-tuk and taken to a restaurant to meet our professional cook for the day. Next, we set off to a local fresh market to view fresh produce and learn about local vegetables and fruits used in the country’s cuisine. Lao food is known for its colorful flavor and this class will give us an insight into the traditions behind a cuisine that is packed with fragrant herbs and spicy chilies. We prepare our dishes under the instruction of our professional chef and then enjoy the fruits of our labor for lunch, followed by a tuk-tuk ride back to the hotel. This is a great skill to learn and one that can be used back at home to entertain friends and family.
