Sail through maritime history in Yangon

Asian Trails Myanmar brings the maritime history of the country to events and incentives at the historic Yangon Sailing Club located along Inya Lake and opposite Yangon University compound.

In the three-hour long session participants learn the basic of stand-up paddling and sailing with local experts. The competition among participants starts in the afternoon when they break up in small teams to take part in a 60-minute boat race.

Participants are free to come in leisurely beach wear, providing that wearing scantily-clad beach wear, or beach wear with obscene text and graphics, for both ladies and gentlemen is not accepted. We highly recommended bringing a change of clothing (2 sets), towel, swim wear and waterproof sandals / shoes.

This is when they apply what they have learned during the class and show team spirit, as well as cooperative skill among the team members. Each boat will be monitored by one instructor during the race. Day ends with drinks and food. Maximum capacity of each class is 15 persons and 30 for the boat race.
