Half Day The Mossy Forest of Gunung Brinchang Tour
We take a four-wheel drive vehicle to cruise alongside the picturesque rolling tea gardens towards Gunung Brinchang, 2,000 metres above sea level. Listen to our guide’s informative insight into tea culture while enjoying the breath-taking view of the lush landscape which is exceptional from this elevated position.
An interpretive walk with our nature guide into the mossy forest will reveal some of the exotic flora that thrives in this location, such as the pitcher plant, orchids, primitive ferns, spices and medicinal plants. A short drive down from the mountain brings us to Sungai Palas BOH Tea Factory where we enjoy a factory tour, ahead of appreciating the many varieties of tea blends offered at the tea shop.
Route
- Duration: 4 hours, with departure at 8 am;
- Pick up & drop off from hotels in Tanah Rata and Brinchang area only. Additional surcharge at USD 19 per vehicle will be imposed if the pick up point from Lake House area;
- Tea Factory and Tea House are closed on every Monday and Malaysian Public Holidays;
- Mossy Forest easy platform walk from February to October;
- Mossy Forest trekking from November to January (as easy platform walk will be closed during monsoon season every year);
- This Trail programme is operated daily on private and shared basis with English speaking guide;
- Cancellation policy: 100% penalty charge will apply for cancellation request within 4 days or less prior to the service date or a No Show;
- Seat-in-Coach tours are operated daily with English-speaking guide;
- Seat-in-Coach tours refers to group size of minimum 2 Pax, unless stated otherwise below;
- Please be informed pick up time for SIC tours with pick up point from The Lakehouse Resort will be at 7.30am and from Tanah Rata and Brinchang area at 8.00am;
- Guests need to be punctual and be ready at the hotel lobby within stated time. Any lateness will not be entertained, and driver will wait within time as specified only. Any no show event will still be charged in full.
