Helping the garden grow in Kuala Lumpur

As part of our commitment to supporting local communities, Asian Trails’ team in Malaysia rolled up their sleeves to help clean up a community garden in Kampung Baru, an old residential district of Kuala Lumpur.

This initiative was arranged in partnership with Kebun Komuniti, an organisation dedicated to promoting sustainable farming in the area, with plans to develop a homestay nearby.

During the event, our colleagues focused on tidying up the aubergine section of the garden. After removing litter, the team began planting new mustard greens, a fast-growing, nutritious leaf that is found in many delicious Malaysian dishes.

Asian Trails offers a variety of tours in Kampung Baru and we are proud to support this initiative to create an inviting and environmentally friendly space for both residents and visitors.
