Celebrating 27 years of Asian Trails

Marking 27 years since the company was founded, Asian Trails celebrated the occasion at its Bangkok head office on 30 September 2026.

The event began with a traditional ceremony at the spirit house in front of the office building, where employees gathered to make offerings and honour the company’s continued success.

Afterwards, staff enjoyed a celebratory lunch featuring an array of local Thai dishes. It was a wonderful occasion to reflect on the journey so far and look ahead to the future.

Since launching in Bangkok in September 1999, Asian Trails has grown from a single office, founded by Chairman Luzi Matzig and Chief Executive Officer Laurent Kuenzle, into a leading and trusted regional DMC with operations across 10 destinations in Asia.

We are grateful to our colleagues, clients and partners who have been part of our journey over the years and who continue to make Asian Trails what it is today.

Here’s to 27 years of shared experiences, lasting partnerships and many more to come.
