Get fighting fit for business

Add a new dimension to a MICE event in Langkawi with a morning Silat martial arts display conducted on the sandy shores of this idyllic island.

Silat is a collective word for a class of indigenous martial arts rooted in the Malay Archipelago and was inscribed on UNESCO’s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2019. A maximum of 100 participants can be trained in self-defence techniques during this non-contact demonstration. There are over 150 Silat styles in Malaysia, whose names derive from natural elements such as animals and plants.

The one hour exhibition, guided by leading exponents of this combined martial and performance art, will prepare delegates, both mentally and physically, for a day of successful business events.
