Half Day Sepilok Orang Utan & Sun Bear Tour
In the morning, start your day with a visit to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre that helps orphaned, injured or displaced orangutans gain vital jungle skills before being released into their natural habitat. Guests can learn about the rehabilitation programme and see how orangutans are taught essential jungle life skills such as foraging for food, building nests and climbing. Next, explore Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre that rehabilitates the world’s smallest bears threatened by forest degradation and poaching that features a large forest enclosure to provide a natural environment for sun bears. After finishing the tour, we transfer you back to the hotel.
Route
- Duration: 4 hours, with departure at 8:15 am (city area) / 8:45 am (Sepilok area);
- Cancellation Policy & No-Show:
- During normal period, 25% charge shall be imposed for any cancellation within 31 days and 100% charge any cancellation within 9 days prior to arrival date and No-Show.
- During July & August, 25% charge shall be imposed for any cancellation within 61 days, 50% charge for any cancellation within 32 days, and 100% charge for any cancellation within 15 days prior to arrival date and No-Show.
- This trail programme is operated daily based on private basis with English speaking guide.
