Full Day Kudat Rungus Longhouse & Tip of Borneo Experience
Head to the ‘Tip of Borneo’ on an excursion that dips our toes into the rural life on the way. Collected from our hotel, or at a location in the city, we transfer three hours to Kudat passing scenic countryside, paddy fields, villages, oil palm plantations and local stalls selling handicraft and food items. En route we stop at Gombizau village, visit a Bee Farm and Sumangkap Village, known for its gong making, a skill carried out by local artisans.
Next, we proceed to Bavanggazo village to visit a longhouse built entirely from local materials which is home to the Rungus ethnic minority who are known for their expertise in creating handicrafts such as beadwork, baskets and costumes. After lunch, we continue to Tanjung Simpang Mengayau, also known as the ‘Tip of Borneo’ to witness the spectacular breath-taking view where the South China and Sulu seas meet. Afterwards, we transfer back to Kota Kinabalu.

- Duration: 8-9 hours, with departure at 7 am;
