Padar and Komodo Day Tour
Explore the tropical paradise islands of Padar and Komodo on this full-day immersion into life above and below the waves. From the hotel, we set off to the harbour in the early morning to embark on a 3.5-hour cruise to Komodo Island for a scenic trek to the island’s peak. Here, we can soak up magnificent views of surrounding islands, bays and beaches.
Walking through the typical dry forest to explore the Island of Komodo dragon. You might see other wild animals such as deer, wild buffalo, long-tailed macaque and wild boar also numerous of birds (subject to the weather and condition). Keep your eyes up as sometime you will find the young Komodo dragons on the trees. A local ranger will lead you through this nature reserve.
We then cruise to the Pink Beach. This startling stretch of pink sand gets its hues from red coral fragments and this is a stunning spot to relax, or delve into the colourful underwater world with a snorkelling session. Lunch will be served on board as we head to Komodo Island for a two-hour trek in search of the island’s famed Komodo dragons. Afterwards, we navigate to Labuan Bajo and then return to the hotel.
Route
- Duration: 8 hours, with departure at 6 am and finish at 5.30 pm;

- This tour is recommended for guests staying at a hotel in Labuan Bajo;
- Pick up from other areas of Labuan Bajo will be applied upon booking.
- Return joint transfers from hotel in Labuan Bajo to Labuan Bajo harbour by air-conditioned vehicle, unless otherwise stated;
- English speaking guide;
- Snorkelling: schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions;
- Choices of local wooden boat or speedboat as per itinerary;
- Ranger at the national park for short or medium-length trekking;
- Long-trek option is available on request and on guest’s personal account;
- Simple lunch;
- All entrance fees for visits as mentioned in the programme except for the Komodo National Park; the conservation fee/entrance fee is not included;
