Day-to-Day Itinerary
You will be collected from your hotel and transfer to the northwestern city of Ipoh. The charming capital of Perak is flanked by towering white cliffs and is famous for its street art and street food. After a 2-hour scenic drive we arrive at Banjaran Hotspring Retreat, with the rest of the day at your leisure to start making some ever-lasting honeymoon memories. The stunning resort is perfect for romance, nestled in a breath-taking valley and cradled by 260 million-year old towering Paleozoic limestone hills, verdant rainforest, rejuvenating geothermal hot springs, natural caves and cascading waterfalls. Each of the 45 sumptuous Garden, Water and Lake villas boast stunning views of the tree-clad karsts, and a pampering Spa and Wellness Centre offers a host of retreat experiences. Rejuvenate at the geothermal hot springs dipping pools, plunge into the ice bath, seek solace in the thermal steam cave or restore your energy in the crystal cave.

Today is at your leisure to laze around the pool, be pampered at the spa or indulge in the wealth of wellness sessions available at the resort. Alternatively, there is a range of day adventures on offer. These include a trip to water theme park the Lost World of Tambun and a tour of Chin’s pomelo farm to learn about enzymes and organic fertilisers, taste the fruit and join in a visit to the colourful night market where growers sell their produce. Alternatively, you can explore the stunning limestone cave, landscaped garden and pavilions, and statues of Buddha at Sam Poh Tong Temple, take a romantic stroll through the scenic Japanese Garden at Taman Dr Seenivasagam or visit the royal town of Kuala Kangsar to uncover the origins of labu sayong, black, gourd-shaped jars made of clay.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast while soaking up the stunning surroundings. Indulge in a final treatment to ensure you leave feeling fully rejuvenated. An Ayurvedic massage is the perfect way to pamper. Warm medicinal herbal oils combined with long-flowing strokes are used to release tension, soothe nerves, rejuvenate and detoxify the body. This includes a sweda (herbal steam bath). A bespoke skin polish is a relaxing all-over exfoliation and layering of richly nourishing products that leave the skin looking radiant. Alternatively, get a reiki session. The energy healing treatment sees hands placed over key positions on the body to move and rebalance energy. Dip your legs in the Garra Rufa Doctor Fish Pools and feel the tingling yet relaxing sensation of exotic Garra Rufa fish nibble at your dead skin. We then hit the road for a scenic 2-hour return drive to Kuala Lumpur.

- Effective from 1 September 2017 onwards, a Tourism Tax of MYR 10 per room per night will be levied directly to non-Malaysian guests at the hotel upon check-out;

- 50% surcharge early morning pick up will be applicable for transfer pick up before 10AM from Ipoh to Kuala Lumpur city;
- 100% surcharge for tour guide applicable during Malaysia Public Holidays;
- 50% Midnight surcharge for transfer pick up between 2300hrs to 0700hrs;
- Personal expenses such as other meals, drinks, tips and gratuities, shopping, portage fees and optional tours/ visits, unless otherwise stated;
- Any domestic / international airline tickets, airport taxes, visa fees, specific camera / video fees, additional transportation cost from and to the general pick-up / drop-off regions (such as airports, out-of-town resorts, ports, harbours and accommodation in surrounding towns);
- Any accommodation expenses of a personal nature. This includes (compulsory festive) meals and drinks, mini-bar consumption, laundry, room service, any telephone or other communication cost not mentioned in the programme;
- International travel and medical insurance coverage for customers;
- Voluntary carbon emission compensation: USD 1.50 per person per day.
