Heritage comes alive in landmark mansion

Step into one of Singapore’s most distinctive heritage settings at the House of Tan Yeok Nee, a 19th-century mansion transformed into a contemporary destination for dining, events and private experiences. Built between 1882 and 1885 by prominent Teochew businessman Tan Yeok Nee, the mansion is the sole surviving example of Singapore’s historic ‘Four Grand Mansions’. Its distinctive Teochew architecture features intricate timber carvings, colourful porcelain decorations, ornate roof details and atmospheric courtyard spaces, offering a glimpse into Singapore’s early Chinese heritage.

Today, the mansion has been reimagined as a living heritage destination, with a Heritage Gallery, dining and lifestyle concepts, and spaces for private celebrations, corporate functions, curated events and exclusive gatherings.
