Kampung Baru and Chow Kit

Kampung Baru and Chow Kit

Explore Kampung Baru, a residential area that retains an old-world village charm. Begin at Pintasan Saloma, a pedestrian bridge that crosses over the Klang River and learn the stories behind the community’s Malay and Dutch heritage buildings, traditional food makers and handicraft shops. Wander through Chow Kit, a local fresh food market, peruse a street lined with colourful textiles and antiques and witness the largest Sikh temple in South-East Asia.
