TRAIL ITINERARY

Hop-on Hop-off Bangkok

Explore various corners of the city using the hop-on hop-off bus service. The bus travels in a loop and passes many of the city’s most famous sights, including traditional temples, riverside landmarks, shopping districts and trendy shopping malls. Stops include Wat Pho temple and Wat Arun (the Temple of Dawn). Hop-off at any time to begin exploring using our Digital Trails maps or meet up with a local expert for a guided walking experience.

After exploring the city by bus, enjoy a guided evening walk in Bangkok’s bustling Chinatown district. Learn the history of the gold trade, view the iconic Chinatown Gate and discover traditional shopfronts and trendy eateries. Along the way, taste some of the popular Thai street food as your guide offers cultural insights and explains the various dishes.

The hop-on hop-off bus pass is valid for 24 hours after first validation, with buses operating between 9 am and 3 pm. Meet our representative and validated your ticket at Siam Paragon Shopping Mall, South Gate, Ground Floor (in front of LOCK BOX Plus+ and Bangkok Bank). Guests are advised to arrive 15 minutes before the bus departure time in order to complete check-in procedure.

Chinatown by Night guided walks depart every Tuesday to Sunday at 6.30 pm. The meeting point is at the MRT Hua Lamphong Station Exit 1.

INCLUSIONS

  • The all-in-one pass provides access to all guided and self-guided Digital Trails during a 72-hour period.
  • The guided walks are led by an English-speaking guide and guests can hop-on and hop-off the routes at any time.
  • 24-hour access to audio and written content on the app, available in 5 languages: English, Chinese, Spanish, Italian and Japanese.
  • All applicable taxes and service charges.

EXCLUSIONS

  • Digital Trails do not include transfers to/from hotels. Travellers are advised to make their own way and should arrive at the meeting point ahead the scheduled start time.
  • Mobile device and headphones are not included. Travellers are advised to bring their own.
  • Entrance fees to sights and attractions along the route.
  • Tours, inclusions of any kind and other services that are not outlined in the tour description.
  • Personal expenses such as meals, drinks, tips and gratuities, shopping, portage fees and optional tours, unless otherwise stated.
  • Travel insurance coverage (highly recommended).

GOOD TO KNOW

  • The guided walk is operated on a join-in basis without transfers: guided walks operate with a minimum of one and maximum of 15 participants.
  • Children aged 0-12 years can join Digital Trails for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
  • The 72-Hour Pass is valid for 12 months after the date of purchase. Once activated, the ticket will expire within 72 hours.
  • Please make arrangements to arrive at the meeting point ahead of the tour start time.
  • The guided Digital Trails include insights from local experts about the destination’s culture, cuisine.
  • The self-guided Digital Trails allow travellers to explore more and navigate around the city using the digital roadbook and GPS route information.
