Bangkok Cultural Gems

14:00 - 17:00

The walk begins at the meeting point at MRT Sanam Chai Station, just outside Museum Siam. Walk with the local expert to hear stories of the past and discover unique cultural gems in this old part of the city. Admire the greenery at Saranrom Palace Park and learn about the Bangkok Tram Story. Cross over a small bridge called Saphan Han and explore Sampeng Avenue, Bangkok’s wholesale goods market. Continue to Pak Khlong Talat to admire the fresh orchids and marigold blossoms at the flower market.

Guided walks require 12 hours advance booking. This guided city walk can be combined with an evening dinner cruise experience.

EXCLUSIONS

  • Digital Trails do not include transfers to/from hotels. Travellers are advised to make their own way and should arrive at the meeting point ahead the scheduled start time.
  • Mobile device and headphones are not included. Travellers are advised to bring their own.
  • Entrance fees to sights and attractions along the route.
  • Tours, inclusions of any kind and other services that are not outlined in the tour description.
  • Personal expenses such as meals, drinks, tips and gratuities, shopping, portage fees and optional tours, unless otherwise stated.
  • Travel insurance coverage (highly recommended.

GOOD TO KNOW

  • The guided walk is operated on a join-in basis without transfers: guided walks operate with a minimum of one and maximum of 15 participants.
  • Children aged 0-12 years can join Digital Trails for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
  • The 72-Hour Pass is valid for 12 months after the date of purchase. Once activated, the ticket will expire within 72 hours.
  • Please make arrangements to arrive at the meeting point ahead of the tour start time.
  • The guided Digital Trails include insights from local experts about the destination’s culture, cuisine.
  • The self-guided Digital Trails allow travellers to explore more and navigate around the city using the digital roadbook and GPS route information.
