Highlights of Bali
Our ‘Highlights of Bali’ today takes in a wealth of cultural and natural attractions. The first stop is Celuk to view exquisite silver and gold handcrafts produced by exceptionally skilled craftsmen. Next, is 18th century Kerta Gosa. Otherwise known as the ‘Hall of Justice,’ this is a beautifully laid-out attraction, within a moat and it provides an exquisite example of the Klungkung Regency style of painting and architecture which is evident in the impressive ceiling murals.
A must see for every visitor to Indonesia is the ‘mother temple’ Besakih, which is located on a slope of Mount Agung. We then proceed to the highlight of the tour – a breath-taking view from Kintamani of Mount Batur and its lake. Lunch will be served at the rim of the crater with a panoramic view as we dine. On the way back to the hotel, we visit the ornate Gunung Kawi Temple in Sebatu.
