Closure schedule for Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Hanoi, Vietnam, will be temporarily closed for annual maintenance from 5 September to 3 November 2026.

During this period, visitors will not be able to enter the mausoleum. However, they can still view the exterior of the building and explore nearby attractions, including Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House and the One Pillar Pagoda.

In addition, the mausoleum will remain closed every Monday and Friday for the rest of 2026, except when special opening arrangements are announced for national holidays.

Asian Trails is available to assist with any necessary itinerary adjustments for tours affected by these closures. For programmes scheduled during the annual maintenance period or on Mondays and Fridays, alternative sightseeing options include the Temple of Literature, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and the Hoa Lo Prison Relic Site.
