Half Day Penang Heritage Trishaw Trail
One of the best ways to explore and discover George Town is by the city’s oldest mode of transportation – the trishaw. A popular and once the only means to get around Penang, this threewheeled vehicle introduced in 1936 will wind us through the narrow streets of George Town where the island’s famous heritage landmarks are found.
Our ride starts at Fort Cornwallis, passes the Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower and heads towards the waterfront jetties. Next, we ride through the bustling and colourful Little India, Penang’s main commercial and banking zone, St George’s Church, old Chinese Temples and a number of narrow and quaint streets dotted with heritage boutique hotels and cafes. Our ride concludes at the world-famous Blue Mansion.
