Half Day Nature Cycling Trip
Take to two wheels on a bicycle tour exploring the breath-taking scenery, rustic ambience and spectacular limestone formation of Langkawi. Listed under the UNESCO’s list of Geoforest Park for the oldest rock formation and rich biodiversity of fauna and flora, our four hours bike exploration takes us alongside river banks, past paddy fields and forests as we experience the island from a totally different point of view. On the way, we make various stops that give us a glimpse into local daily life at the island’s villages.
Route
- Duration: 4 hours, with departure as follows:
- Morning: Start/end: 8.30 am – 12.30 pm;
- Afternoon: Start/end: 3.30 pm – 7.30 pm.
- This tour is for adults only and children under 11 years of age are not permitted;
- It is recommended to wear a t-shirt, short pants, sandals or sneakers, hat or cap and to bring a small backpack and enough sunscreen;
- The trip is focused on enjoying the nature in an active way, not on distance and speed;
- Some cycling experience is needed and reasonable fitness level required;
- Only adult size bicycles available. Lowest position saddle is 82cm and the total cycling distance is 18-20kms on flat terrain (no hills);
- Tour rates are NOT applicable during Langkawi LIMA Event and booking confirmation will be subject to availability upon request;
- This trail programme is operated daily on shared basis with English speaking guide;
- Cancellation policy: 100% penalty charge will apply for cancellation request within 4 days or less prior to the service date or a No Show.
- Seat-in-Coach tours are operated daily with English-speaking guide;
- Seat-in-Coach tours refers to group size of minimum 2 pax and maximum 8 pax, unless stated otherwise below;
- Max. waiting time for Seat-in-Coach tours pick-up from hotel will be up to 5 minutes only;
- Seat-in-Coach tour rates DO NOT inclusive entrance tickets;
- Seat-in-Coach tours with pick-up from hotels located other than Kuah town and beach area (Cenang/Tengah/Kok) will apply additional surcharge.
- Tours and transfers with English-speaking assistance;
- Transportation for tour and transfers by air-conditioned vehicle, unless otherwise stated;
- Good quality mountain bike (21 gears), experienced guide, insurance, mineral water & snacks;
- All applicable taxes and service charges.
