Half Day Visit My Son Temple
In the morning, we depart from the hotel for a half-day excursion to My Son, the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom. This is situated 40 km south-west of Hoi An in idyllic countryside. It has been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and the protected sanctuary houses dozens of red-brick towers and temples, dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries. After this fascinating exploration of ancient artefacts, we head back to the hotel in Hoi An.
Route
- Voluntary Carbon Offset Compensation: USD1.50 per person per day;
- Duration: approx. 4 hours, morning or afternoon;
- We are no longer using single use plastic bottles on our tours and instead use reusable 5 & 19 litter bottles to refill the client’s bottles. We hope we can encourage clients to bring their own bottles;
- This trail programme is operated daily on private basis;
- Excursions are designed for clients staying from Da Nang city centre to Hoi An Ancient Town. If clients stay at Intercontinental Da Nang, surcharge will be requested at the booking time;
- All mentioned times, durations and stops are based on approximations and may change due to unforeseen circumstances, weather and traffic conditions beyond our control;
- Please ensure that you bring sunglasses, a hat /cap and sunblock with a high SPF factor when traveling with us. Even when it is cloudy, the sun still has an immense power.
- Tours and transfers with licensed English-speaking guiding services/ assistance. Other languages are on request and are subject to availability;
- Transportation for tour and transfers by air-conditioned vehicle, unless otherwise stated;
- All entrance fees for visits as mentioned in the programme;
- All applicable taxes and service charges;
- All meals as indicated in the programme (food only).
