Training reinforces responsible travel

Asian Trails’ guides and drivers in Cambodia recently took part in a refresher training course designed to reinforce their understanding of the company’s sustainability policy and operational guidelines.

The goal is to ensure alignment with our high standards and the consistent delivery of exceptional travel experiences.

The session in our Phnom Penh office brought together 13 multilingual guides – fluent in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish – along with two Phnom Penh-based drivers.

Led by Operations Manager Sothea Pensin, with support from Product Manager and Sustainability Coordinator Diego Santacroce, the two-hour session focused on operational best practices and actions that reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to responsible travel.

Key topics included our sustainability framework, animal welfare guidelines and child safety protocols – with a strong emphasis on the crucial role guides and drivers play in upholding these standards on the ground.

The participants’ enthusiasm underscored a shared dedication to providing safe, sustainable and meaningful travel experiences in Cambodia. To learn more about our responsible travel or for expert travel planning advice, please contact Asian Trails Cambodia
