New direct flight to link Kuwait and Phuket

Kuwait Airways will launch a new direct service between Kuwait and Phuket, from 27 October 2026, making it easier for travellers from the Gulf region to reach one of the kingdom’s most popular holiday islands.

The airline will operate two flights per week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with bookings for the new route now available. The new service provides a convenient alternative to itineraries requiring a connection, shortening the journey and making Phuket more accessible for visitors from the Middle East.

For travellers from Kuwait, the new route offers a more convenient way to enjoy Phuket’s diverse attractions, from beaches, island excursions and luxury resorts to cultural attractions, outdoor activities and culinary experiences.

The twice-weekly service is expected to strengthen tourism links between Kuwait and Thailand and provide an additional gateway for visitors looking to discover idyllic destinations beyond Phuket.
