Park Hyatt debuts in Malaysia

Park Hyatt has officially entered the Malaysian market with the opening of Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur.

Located in Merdeka 118 – the tallest skyscraper in the Asia-Pacific – the hotel occupies levels 75 to 114. Guests enjoy an elevated luxury experience with sweeping views of the capital’s skyline.

The property comprises 252 rooms and suites, each featuring expansive living areas, floor-to-ceiling windows, walk-in dressing rooms and private dining spaces in select suites.

The interiors, designed by the G.A Group, draw inspiration from traditional Malay architecture, incorporating artisanal detailing, batik-inspired brass screens and curated local artworks.

Dining highlights include Merdeka Grill, helmed by Executive Chef Stig Drageide; Park Lounge, offering heritage Malaysian cuisine and afternoon tea; and Cacao Lab – the city’s first chocolate-themed bar, specialising in cacao-infused cocktails and handcrafted confections.

Wellness facilities on the 99th floor include a yoga studio, treatment suites, vitality and infinity pools and circadian sleep rhythm therapies. For meetings and events, executive salons combine advanced technology, natural light and panoramic city views – ideal for business gatherings, weddings and private functions.
