Embark on a meaningful day of connection and creativity with the “From Heart to Hand: Empathy and Creation” experience. Begin your journey by metro to Phung Khoang Station, followed by a leisurely walk through the vibrant local market and visits to the historic Phung Khoang village communal house and church. The heart of your day unfolds at KymViet, a social enterprise where people with disabilities lead a powerful workshop rooted in empathy and craftsmanship. After a warm welcome and an insightful introduction to KymViet’s mission, you’ll engage in activities designed to deepen understanding – such as basic sign language and simple daily challenges that simulate living with a disability. Tour the workshop, meet the artisans, and enjoy a break with local refreshments before joining a hands-on craft session to make a stuffed toy or paint on canvas fabric. This inspiring and low-impact experience not only supports the local community but also fosters genuine human connection – an ideal journey under our Sustainable Trails collection.
Route
- Voluntary Carbon Offset Compensation: USD1.50 per person per day;
- Duration: approx. 4 hours;
- All mentioned times, durations and stops are based on approximations and may change due to unforeseen circumstances, weather and traffic conditions beyond our control;
- This trail programme is operated daily on private basis;
- We are no longer using single-use plastic bottles on our tours and instead use reusable 5 & 19 litter bottles to refill the client’s bottles. We hope we can encourage clients to bring their own bottles;
- Excursions are designed for clients staying around the city center. If clients stay far away, surcharge will be requested at the booking time;
- Please ensure that you bring sunglasses, a hat /cap and sunblock with a high SPF factor when traveling with us. Even when it is cloudy, the sun still has an immense power.
- Tours and transfers with English-speaking, licenced assistance; Other languages are on request and are subject to availability;
- Transportation for tour and transfers by air-conditioned vehicle, unless otherwise stated;
