Full Day Hanoi Crafts and Traditions
Begin your journey through the artisanal heart of Vietnam, starting with a visit to the renowned Ha Thai lacquerware village, which boasts a 200-year-old tradition of exquisite craftsmanship. Here, you’ll engage in a hands-on eggshell inlay workshop, creating your own masterpiece on lacquer, a practice perfected over generations. Continue to Chuong village, with a 300-year legacy of crafting the iconic Vietnamese conical hat. Explore the charming village, its bustling market, and an ancient temple, followed by a home-hosted lunch at a local artisan’s residence. Deepen your connection with this heritage through a workshop where you’ll paint and keep
your own conical hat. Conclude the day at Quang Phu Cau incense village, a centuries-old community dedicated to the art of incense-making. Visit different workshops, each specializing in a step of the intricate process, and capture memorable photos at a colorful display site before returning to Hanoi.
