Half Day Hands on Cooking Class at Tropical Spice Garden

Tropical Spice Garden is a bio-diverse living museum of the spices and other tropical plants that have shaped our global history. The six landscaped acres of the garden is a treasure trove of more than 500 living specimens of lush and exotic flora from around the world. The Tropical Spice Garden is also recognised as one of the best flower gardens in Penang, Malaysia for anyone that appreciates and enjoys learning about Malaysian flora and fauna. It is also ranked as one of the top tourists highlights of the country for “Where to Go in Penang”, “Interesting Places to Go Visit in Penang Malaysia” and “What to Do in Penang Malaysia”.

Tropical Spice Garden Cooking School is the first of its kind in Penang. Equipped with individual, purpose-built workstations, this allows for a memorable hands-on cooking experience. Tucked away in a secluded corner of an award-winning garden, the cooking school is surrounded by a lush forest with a glimpse of the Andaman Sea. Under the guidance of experienced and professional chefs – each specialising in a variety of Malaysian cuisines – you can learn to cook local favourites such as Nasi Lemak, Penang Assam Laksa, Beef Rendang, Char Koay Teow, Chicken Tandoori to name a few, and even concoct refreshing spice-inspired beverages.
