Half Day Essence of Saigon
Discover the vibrant soul of Ho Chi Minh City on a half-day tour blending history, architecture, and local culture. The journey begins at the Reunification Palace, a striking 1960s landmark preserved in time. Depending on preference, a short transfer or walk leads to the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral for an exterior view as it undergoes renovation. Right beside it, explore the grand Saigon Central Post Office, where each guest receives a postcard to write and send home—an experience included in the tour. We then drive along the elegant Saigon Opera House before dropping off at Ho Chi Minh City Hall overlooking Nguyen Hue Walking Street. A short stroll brings us to the infamous 42 Nguyen Hue Apartment Cafe building to savour local coffee amidst its quirky, bohemian charm. Finally, a short drive takes us to Ben Thanh Market to explore its bustling maze of stalls under the historic clocktower before returning to the hotel.
Route
- Voluntary Carbon Offset Compensation: USD1.50 per person per day;
- Duration: approx. 3-4 hours for half day and 7-8 hours for full day;
- All mentioned times, durations and stops are based on approximations and may change due to unforeseen circumstances, weather and traffic conditions beyond our control;
- This trail programme operates daily on private basis;
- We are no longer using single-use plastic bottles on our tours and instead use reusable 5 & 19 litter bottles to refill the client’s bottles. We hope we can encourage clients to bring their
own bottles; - Please ensure that you bring sunglasses, a hat /cap and sunblock with a high SPF factor when traveling with us. Even when it is cloudy, the sun still has an immense power;
- Excursions are designed for clients staying around the city center. If clients stay far away, surcharge will be requested at the booking time.
- Tours and transfers with English-speaking, licenced assistance; Other languages are on request and are subject to availability;
- Transportation for tour and transfers by air-conditioned vehicle, unless otherwise stated;
- All entrance fees for visits as mentioned in the programme;
- All applicable taxes and service charges;
- One refreshing drink per person.
