Chinese challenges in Shanghai garden
Restored to its former glory, Shanghai’s Yuyuan Garden is the perfect playground for incentive events with a cultural theme.
Situated in the old city, this oasis of peace dates back 400 years to the Ming Dynasty when it was a high-ranking official’s private garden. It is considered to be the best classical garden in South-East China and features buildings created in traditional Chinese architectural designs, ornate pavilions, lotus ponds, stone bridges, winding pathways and rock formations.
Known as the forest in the city, this is the perfect setting for team challenges and problem-solving exercises that incorporate local culture, traditions and stories. This includes solving riddles, instruction in Chinese calligraphy, treasure hunts and culinary-themed activities.
