Private Full Day Intara Farm Visit
A short boat journey from Phuket takes guests to Intara Farm for a full day of aquaculture activities. We will embark on a journey back in time as we experience the island’s past as a major destination for pearl cultivation and fishing. The excursion gets underway with a 9 am long-tail boat ride from Sapham Bay to the farm situated midway down the island’s East coast, in a spectacular location off Coconut Island. We get a fascinating immersion into eco-friendly practices, such as the cultivation of pearls in oysters and rearing black salmon in floating nets. A highlight is releasing a snapper fish, one per person, so we can leave a positive environmental footprint. We
also kayak through a dense mangrove forest and have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments in a bistro cafe suspended above the water on a wooden platform. Lunch is included on this tour. Longtail boat transfers add to the authenticity of this water-based adventure that both enlightens and entertains.
