Khmer party in Chhreav Village
The Khmer people hold a party every year to celebrate the rice harvest. This traditional gathering in the Cambodian countryside makes for a unique incentive event.
Asian Trails has chosen Chhreav Village, a few kilometres from Siem Reap, surrounded by rice fields and farming lands, for an incentive party. Catering for up to 60 delegates, it is an evening of gastronomical delights and local cultural experiences.
The Khmer buffet dinner, inclusive of free flow of drinks, is set up around a local craft market with stalls in wooden cottages. There are sculpture workshop, basket-making, rice-milling, shadow puppet making, fishing and Bokator martial art demonstration. Guests also have the opportunity to dance to traditional music played by a Khmer folk band.
