Joining a culturally rooted mixology class provides a flavourful introduction to Bali’s signature spirit.

This engaging, hands-on experience offers an interactive insight into the art of Indonesian-style liquor production.

Guests are introduced to the history and philosophy of arak, a traditional Balinese spirit that is double-distilled and infused with exotic fruits and spices.

The activity includes a guided tasting session that highlights the liquor’s distinctive aromas and flavour profiles. Under the guidance of professional mixologists, participants then craft their own cocktails – gaining awareness of the significant role arak plays in Balinese cultural life.

The class can be hosted at hotels, bars or restaurants across Bali and it is suitable for groups of 16 to 36 participants. All ingredients, tools, expert facilitators, photo documentation and participation certificates are included.
