Elephant Poo Poo Paper Park
Learn to make paper out of elephant dung fibres at the Elephant Poo Paper Park. Chiang Mai has a long history of making paper using traditional methods that originated from China. We learn about the history of paper making at this eco-friendly outdoor museum park that is suited to all ages, including children. An interpretive walking tour through eight different pavilions explains each stage of the paper making process from dung collection to the final product assembly. We are encouraged to pull up a stool, roll up our sleeves and join together with our talented artisans and guides to participate in this unique process.
