New luxury glamping getaway
Travellers can now discover the remote beauty of rural Cambodia in added style, following the opening of a new luxury retreat in the heart of the Siem Pang Wildlife Sanctuary.
Siempang Forest Lodge offers an intimate, all-inclusive experience, featuring curated activities such as bird spotting, forest drives, village exploration, spa treatments and signature sundowners.

Located in Stung Treng Province, approximately seven hours’ drive from Siem Reap, the sanctuary is one of Cambodia’s most important protected areas. It is characterised by a mosaic of evergreen and deciduous forests, wetlands and river systems and is renowned for its rich biodiversity, including rare bird species such as the giant ibis and white-shouldered ibis, alongside a variety of mammals.

The lodge opens up access to this remote region, with all-inclusive stays designed for travellers seeking immersive nature and wildlife experiences. The site combines low-impact design with a strong commitment to conservation, with just 15 tented suites to ensure an intimate stay. Ten Suite Tents of 150 sq-m feature four-poster beds, freestanding bathtubs and generous living space. Five Deluxe Tents of 64 sq-m offer eco-luxury comfort with air-conditioning and en-suite facilities.

The experiences are highly personalised, including guided birding and wildlife tracking to cycling and cultural encounters, all complemented by bush dinners, sundowners and wellness treatments.
The lodge operates as part of a conservation economy, with 10 per cent of revenue and 70 per cent of profits supporting the Siem Pang Conservation NGO, funding anti-poaching, habitat protection and wildlife monitoring initiatives.
