AirBorneo opens new routes to Sarawak

AirBorneo has expanded connectivity to Sarawak with new services linking Kuching with Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

Following the Sarawak Government’s acquisition and rebranding of the airline in early 2026, AirBorneo continues to strengthen its domestic and international network.

The Kuala Lumpur to Kuching service operates twice daily from KLIA Terminal 1, while the new Singapore to Kuching route, AirBorneo’s first international service, operates daily from Singapore Changi Airport.

The new connections provide direct links to Sarawak from major regional hubs, creating opportunities to include Kuching in wider Malaysia and South-East Asia itineraries. AirBorneo also continues to operate domestic routes connecting Kuching with destinations across Sarawak and other parts of Borneo.

The expanded network creates opportunities for more flexible tailor-made programmes, giving Asian Trails’ guests the chance to explore Kuching’s cultural and culinary experiences alongside visits to national parks, wildlife centres, local communities and more remote parts of Sarawak.
