Flights from ancient Angkor to island escape resume

AirAsia will resume flights between Siem Reap, Cambodia, and Phu Quoc, Vietnam, for the peak travel season from 16 December 2026 to 27 March 2027.

Flights will operate three times a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Departures from Siem Reap are scheduled for 2.50 pm, arriving in Phu Quoc at 3.55 pm. Return flights depart Phu Quoc at 4.25 pm and arrive in Siem Reap at 5.25 pm.

The seasonal connection creates new opportunities to extend a Cambodia itinerary into Vietnam, combining the iconic Angkor temples with a relaxing beach escape on Vietnam’s largest island.

Known for its sandy beaches, tropical landscapes and clear waters, Phu Quoc offers a welcome contrast to Siem Reap’s cultural attractions, making it an appealing addition for travellers seeking a mix of heritage and island relaxation.
