AirAsia to launch three-country route
AirAsia has announced a new international route connecting three popular regional destinations.
The service will depart from Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport, make a stop in Luang Prabang, Laos and then continue to Hanoi, Vietnam. This route makes use of the airline’s fifth-freedom rights, an international aviation agreement that allows carriers to operate flights between two foreign countries as part of a service originating in their home country.
Using a 180-seat Airbus A320, the flight will meet the growing demand for improved regional connectivity across South-East Asia. Effective 1 December 2025, bookings are now available through Asian Trails. Contact our teams in Laos, Thailand or Vietnam for reservations and travel planning advice.
