Asian Trails joins rice terrace run

In the lead-up to 100 Years of Bali Tourism in 2027, Asian Trails’ staff joined a 5 km fun run organised by the Bali Tourism Board, DPD ASITA Bali and the Bali Provincial Government.

The event provided a meaningful shared experience, celebrating Bali’s natural beauty while promoting wellness and sustainable tourism.

Setting off beneath the summer solstice sunrise, tourism professionals and local community members followed a scenic course through the iconic Jatiluwih Rice Terraces.

Asian Trails’ Business Development Executive, Alessandra De Gennaro, said: “Running at sunrise through the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces is something that stays with you.

“It wasn’t just about the run or the incredible scenery, but about sharing a meaningful moment with the community and industry colleagues. It was a great reminder of why we do what we do.”
