Asian Trails opens fifth office in Indonesia

On 28 April 2026, Asian Trails proudly marked the opening of its fifth office in Indonesia, further strengthening the company’s presence in the country.

The office, located on the island of Lombok, is strategically positioned to provide strong local support and expertise in a destination that continues to grow in popularity, driven by the development of new accommodation, attractions and a wide range of experiences for travellers. This latest addition follows the company’s established offices in Bali, Yogyakarta, Jakarta and Labuan Bajo.

Representatives from the regional Tourism Office, the Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies and the Indonesian Tour Guides Association, alongside valued industry partners, came together for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which featured opening remarks from Asian Trails’ CEO, Laurent Kuenzle, and Managing Director for Indonesia, Bjorn Schimanski.

The celebration also included a traditional tumpeng ceremony, a meaningful Indonesian custom that involves cutting and sharing a cone-shaped rice dish as a symbol of gratitude and abundance.

The new office is located at:
Lombok Garden Hotel
Jalan Bung Karno Number 7, Cilinaya, Kecamatan Cakranegara
Kota Mataram, Nusa Tenggara Barat, 83232, Indonesia.
