Art comes alive at Gardens by the Bay
Celebrating art, culture and innovation, Singapore continues to inspire visitors with new experiences that combine technology and immersive storytelling.
The city’s latest attraction, IMBA (Immersive Media-Based Arts), located within Gardens by the Bay, introduces a new concept that transforms the way audiences discover and engage with art.
Opened in April 2026, IMBA is quickly establishing itself as one of the island’s leading art hubs. The purpose-built venue features two state-of-the-art Black Box Theatres and a versatile Gallery Space, where large-scale projections, spatial sound and innovative storytelling bring artworks to life in new and unexpected ways.

Designed to spark curiosity and inspire audiences of all ages, IMBA presents world-class exhibitions that go beyond the traditional gallery experience.
The current exhibitions allow visitors to journey through six decades of the late David Hockney’s celebrated career in David Hockney: Bigger & Closer, experience the global premiere of juju by Cj Hendry, a playful inflatable art installation, or explore the colourful world of Fernando Botero in Botero: A Life in Fullness. Outdoors, Botero: Garden Grandeur extends into the gardens with a striking collection of monumental sculptures.
Open daily, IMBA is conveniently located within easy walking distance of an MRT station. For more details or bookings, please contact Asian Trails Singapore.
